<h2>PV CAD Engineer</h2>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>This position may include a mix of office and field work.</li>
<li>Use AutoCAD and Sketch Up to design circuit drawings, site plans, system layouts and installation documentation and shading analysis for PV systems.</li>
<li>Assist in performing site surveys at customer locations; documenting on-site information for engineering evaluation.</li>
<li>Create and maintain engineering files and service logs; work with NYSERDA, utilities and installation crews to expedite system turn ons.</li>
<li>Be accountable for quality, safety, productivity and customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Meet with customers at job sites during design and installation cycle..</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with other Engineers, Field Operations Manager, Project Managers and Installation Crews to optimize costs, productivity, customer satisfaction, and create a positive and safe work environment.</li>
<li>Be knowledgeable in the NEC, utility, and NYSERDA requirements</li>
<li>Constantly strive to improve processes, methods, and tools.</li>
<li>Attend several out of town and/or after hours training sessions per year.</li>
<li>Work towards NABCEP certification</li>
<li>Position reports to Engineering Manager.</li>
</ul>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>Must have four year bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.</li>
<li>Strong computer skills, mechanical aptitude, strong technical skills.</li>
<li>Good verbal and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills.</li>
