PV Installer - Solar Electric Systems

We are looking for someone to work as part of a crew installing solar electric generating systems.

Work tasks will include:

- wiring and residential scale electrical work, AC to 240v and DC to 600v
- installing and connecting disconnects, lightning arrestors, inverters, meters, solar modules and grounding systems
- PVC conduit work
- mechanical assembly of racks and mounting systems
- lifting and hoisting solar modules and structural components into position
- measuring, sizing, drilling and cutting materials to size
- packing and unpacking material, counting and tracking material and components
- working with hand tools and light power tools

General requirements:
- electrical background preferred
- must have your own transportation
- full day (7:30am to 4pm) availability required, Monday to Friday
- must enjoy working both indoors and outdoors
- must be able to handle delicate equipment and follow directions closely and accurately
- must maintain a clean and presentable appearance for customers
- smoking not permitted on company or our customer’s property
- must be able to pass a company-paid medical exam and drug test if requested at any time

Geothermal installer tech 1

Description: Install sheet metal ducts including registers, thermostatic controls, and duct insulation. Position also requires the ability to work with others, learn new techniques and technology. Ability to learn how to install ground source heat pumps and install and fuse geothermal pipe from wells to building.

Position requirements:

• ability to read blueprints
• layout and install ductwork
• install low voltage wiring
• experience with cutting and bending sheet metal
• ability to lift 80lbs.

General requirements:
- HVAC experience preferred
- must have your own transportation
